This handmade Shirasaya is a great addition to any sword collection.  Its blade is made from high quality carbon steel with a decorative hamon and bo-hi that delivers audible feed back while swung.  Both its handle and scabbard are wood construction with a high gloss black finish, appearing as one solid piece when sheathed.  The blade is secured to the handle with a single bamboo mekugi.
