    I got my gi because I joined a beginners college Judo class over summer. We had to gewt a gi and I had already sen this one. I wasn't sure what size to get but 5 was the right choice. When it arrived it was twice the size of me, but then since it's cotton I hot washed it and then hot dried it for a long time and now it is shrunk down to my correct size. The gi is definitely heavy duty, especially the shirt.

    I am glad that there are no tags or logos or lettering on the gi, other people get that because they have to and it just doesn't look good.

    I am very glad that it comes with a drawstring waist, I've had bad experience with gi pants that have none. But these do.

    I will have to hem and sew the leg cuffs though, they are too long for me, but if I'd have gotten a size 4, I might look like one of those skinny jeans people, so It's ok.

    I was thinking of getting the double weave, but I'm not an advanced student and I wanted to be economical, and this gi works just fine.
